- Can you tell us something about the project?
You'll find all the infos about the global project on the Info page. To find all the infos for your show, just look on the left sidebar, find your date on the list and click on it ;)
- When are we going to raise the papers?
For now, we chose Beside You, since it's an emotional song, quite slow so you don't really wanna dance like crazy. We also thought it'd give a special meaning to our project, saying "Here's our work, we did it all together, the frontiers between our countries didn't stop us and it's like we were all beside each other, during all this time". It shows our solidarity and friendship quite well, huh? ;)
- Are we supposed to bring papers to the concert ourselves or will the papers be given to us?
We're trying to work with all the arenas to put papers on the seats before the shows but it's really not easy. We recommand you to print at least your sign, if you can, print some extras you'll be able to give around you during the show. We'll try to gather a team for each date of people able to print a lot of signs and give them around the venue, but once again, it's not a sure thing so you definitely should print at least your sign! :)
- What about Ireland and the UK? We're apart of Europe too..
True! We're really glad this project pleases to you guys in Great Britain. Unfortunately, expanding this project to your leg would only cause confusion, plus, you guys already had a lot of shows yourselves while we're trying to prove our point which is central european fans deserve a bit of recognition too. We're concious you guys are apart of Europe, but 5SOS put you guys out of it themselves, by making a UK leg and a European leg.. Sorry :(
- This project is stupid, they'll never get it, they won't understand we're trying to say a whole sentence..
First, there's no need to be angry or pissed. Sure, this project is a bit strange if we see it from 5SOS' eyes, at the beginning. They'll probably won't understand for the couple of first shows but they'll get it, for sure. Plus, we have a great guy from their staff (if you read this, hi Ben!) on our side, who said he'll help them to understand everything, without ruining the surprise. Don't worry for the boys, they'll get it ;)
- I kinda like the idea but I think I won't do it, cause I don't wanna look stupid..
Oh Dear.. Some people are planning to come dressed as a fruit, don't worry, you're not gonna look stupid by holding a paper! Plus, you probably WOULD like stupid if everyone around you does but not you.. :)

DeleteHey! I understand why you haven't included Britain in the project (and yes it makes sense they have a tour leg of their own and they've had 5SOS visit them many times before) however I don't understand why Ireland has been left out.
ReplyDeleteWe're not part of Britain and are listed under the European leg of the tour, yet we're not part of the European project? That doesn't make any sense.
I was just wondering if we could get an explanation as to why we weren't included, it confuses us and makes us feel a little left out. (Plus it might confused the boys too).

DeleteIreland has not been listed with the european leg, it has been put with the uk leg actually.. We decided not to include you since your date was kinda too far of ours, there is a whole week between the french show and yours in Dublin and we thought it was going to confuse the boys more than anything. It's not that we don't like you guys, cause we do, a lot and we're so thankful you guys loved the idea and everything, it's just that it would have been too confusing to let more than three days between two words.. Hope you understand!

I think Ireland should be part of the European project too, sonce we are part of it. Believe it or not, we don't get as much as you think we do and it wouldn't be really fair excluding us (or the UK!). Aren't we all supposed to be fair and supportive together as fans? I don't mean to sound bitter but I hope you can see my point. (P.S Ireland is part of the EU leg. N.Ireland and the rest of England are the UK leg) Thank you :)

DeleteWe totally got the point where you guys were frustrated and everything. Unfortunately, it's too late to include you guys in the project, as the french date closes the project and it would just too confusing to put another word after the conclusion.. We did not include you cause you guys are actually not listed as a date of the european leg :/ (I mean, check their poster and you'll see it -> http://stars-wanted.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/5sos-300x261.jpg I only can find a part of it but they posted the whole on their Twitter, I believe!)
